[REQ]Worried to use templates

Hi Guys... Appreciate all the great templates.... they are great!
I have a question.. i browsed some of those template club sites and they indicated that they will actively search for illegal use of their template and that they will take actions for copyright violation...
I used to sign up for one of these club but the concept is stupid.. i can only use the template while i have to keep paying for membership..
Are their threat merely a threat???

By the way, every software (and template) company saying so, they will Fine and Catch. See which country the company is located at, if you are not in such country don't worry about so. They will NOT spend $ xx,000 to sue you for a hundred dollar. ;)
